V-House is a mixed project which takes its establishment in the popular district of the Place du Jeu de Balle in Brussels. It develops the concept of " cross-over ", or how to make communicate semi-public and private functionalities. The stress is laid well more on the passage of a function to another that on the function itself. Thus a double steel structure will share in a pyramidal hierarchy the light and the visual communications. The semi-public function will extend while being reduced towards the increasingly private functions, making it possible those to preserve a direct link with a place of fastener and meeting. In the same way it is in close connection with the street, interpreting the nodes of junction between the public, semi-public and private parts, the three principal components of the project.
