Space for electronic creations and artistic meetings:

How to satisfy the desire of imaginary space in a world where artistic search soaks more and more with the new technological possibilities?

Whereas the traditional artist takes his images in reality, here, it’s the machine which proposes a world to him on which he rests and grafts his imaginary. However, if data processing like utopian world has infinite possibilities, they are also defined possibilities, a scientist and prepared imaginary to which must run up the innovating search of the artist.

Into this technological projection, new concepts introduce the place.

It’s in this interval of matter that it is necessary to implement new codes of spatiality.

By working space by the means of plans to the slopes, differentiated textures and opacities the visitor finds himself projected in a place where the eye loses its organizing capacity (proximity, limiting, depth, verticality...) and where the prevalent visual feeling is that of a loss of territoriality. A fusion is suggested here between the physical world and the immaterial world of the computer.

Space is not any more one simultaneous space, given in its unit but a rolled up space, fuzzy within the limits of its framework and multiples by its informational matrix. It is restored and lived like the imagined environment of the myoptic or blind man who courses it with touch.

To make a space a place is well the principal task of this architecture. Just as to be an architect today, is to crystallize in a topographic space the interface between reality and the virtuality, in order to give body to the multiple interpretations of the common sense ; it is to solve the paradox of the nostalgia of the place where the body becomes homeless and yet necessary to materialization of the social link.
